So this week, the beautiful, creative and very talented Abigail Kraft is having a bit of a blog parade starting at her blog on ’32nd Street’. Here we go!…
1. What’s your favorite time of the day, and why?
I love the afternoons as long as they’re sunny. By that time I’ve woken up (usually). But if you’re asking when am I most productive? That would be at around 9 p.m. – no matter how tired and sleepy I might be, I’ll always ‘ping’ awake at 9 p.m. and that’s me unable to sleep until about 1 a.m.!
2. If health wasn’t an issue, what food could you live off of?
Oohh…good question! I’d love to have beef lasgne or a yummy juicy beefburger again. Or meatballs. Basically I miss red meat
But if I’m honest, my favourite food is my chocolate blueberry & cranberry cupcakes. I could eat them for breakfast, lunch & dinner quite happily. (I hope that doesn’t sound really arrogant).

3. If you could have one wish granted (besides wishing for more wishes), what would it be?
For restoration in this world & to live in a place where we didn’t judge or make assumptions about each other because of our sexual orientation, past, colour of skin, place of birth or what kind of family set-up we came from.
4. What’s one thing that you get teased about a lot?
Talking really fast when I’m angry/excited about something, plus my many many ‘malteser’ moments. Being small (I’m the shortest of all my siblings by quite a bit). Being terrible in the morning.
5. If you could choose one movie, book, or TV show to spend your life in, which would you pick? What type of character would you be?
I would love to live in Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls). Mainly because unlike most other TV shows, no one gets shot dead/killed in a car crash (or other untimely death) and there have been some happy endings. Hurrah! Plus the people in that town are totally crazy, people say I’m a little bit crazy so I reckon I’d fit right in! I’d probably be a cross between Lane Kim & Lorelai Gilmore.
6. If you could have one talent that you don’t already have, what would it be?
I would love to be able to play the piano.
7.If money were no object, where would you go on vacation?
I would drive across the USA to meet all the bloggers I’ve ‘met’ online, plus stop in to Tree Hill/Capeside (otherwise known as Wilmington, NC). Then I’d go across to Australia in search of my Jesus-loving Aussie surfer husband-to-be and go to the places I didn’t get a chance to see last time I was there.
8. If you were an awesome singer, which genre would you sing?
I’d be a bit of an Indie-rock chick. With maybe a little bit of folk thrown in. Apart from when I’m headlining in Broadway musicals like Les Miserables of course
Move over Lea Salonga…here comes Laura Anne Mackay as Eponine!
9. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, what would it be?
I don’t think I could do a $10,000 shopping spree in a single store. For sure I’d love to have some money to spend on a dress from Coast, a couple of pairs of shoes in Schuh and replace some of my falling apart/don’t fit anymore clothes. But no way could I spend $10,000 on myself unless I was buying a car or something.
Can I spend it to equip a family centre…or a café…? It would basically make one of my dreams come true if I did!!
10. If you could live in any point in time, when would it be?
The 1960s. The hippies, Woodstock, Beatlemania….bring it on!
11. If every outfit in your wardrobe had to be one color, what would it be?
Ask a silly question!!! Why PURPLE of course!
12. If you were one of the seven dwarves, which one would you be?
(Doc, Grumpy, Sneezy, Sleepy, Bashful, Happy, or Dopey)
Well at the moment Sleepy or Sneezy would be pretty fitting. But since Doc has glasses, I’ll choose Doc!
13. What’s the last album you listened to?
The Juno Soundtrack. I love the music on that album!
14. What’s something we’d be surprised to know about you?
Had it not been for the fact I am so terrified of the ‘v’ word (hello emetophobia) I probably would be studying for a degree in Medicine right now with the long term goal of becoming a consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Instead I chose the (so far mainly puke-free) job of managing a pregnancy crisis centre.

Is red meat one of those things you can no longer eat?
Yep. I haven’t been able to eat it since I was 15/16. I’m used to it now, but it totally sucks in BBQ season!
Thanks for an insight into your world
. Although we don’t each much of red meat where I come from, I’ve had a lot of white meat in my younger days. Now a complete vegetarian, I enjoy everything vegan I get on my plate. And I wanted to be a piano teacher at one point of time
